My name is Nicki Perry and I'm based in a beautiful rural location just outside of Honiton in East Devon. I own and run nPROVE fitness, which has grown from a hobby into a career and now is a life passion. I am fortunate enough to be able to work from a bespoke fitness studio with amazing views over the local landscape and adjacent to my family's working farm.  I also like to host some classes in the great outdoors, utilising local green spaces, nature and hills as the source of a challenging workout

Without boring you with all my qualifications, you can be assured that I'm more than qualified and experienced to help you on your health, fitness and fat loss journey. What is more important is the relationships, understanding and knowledge I have gained through coaching 1000's of clients over the past 10 years in the industry. I have seen and tested what works and what doesn't. Yes, having an exercise and nutrition plan can help you on a journey to your goals but more importantly is the support needed to imbed these changes. This is where I focus my effort with my clients; by working on long term behavioural change, consistency rather than perfection, small progressive improvements, habit building, sleep and hormone balance and finding ways to manage stress and improve happiness. 

Although I am happy to work with any client, my specialism is working with clients new (or returning) to fitness. I get so much job satisfaction and fulfilment from building a client's confidence towards exercise, to see them become more active in their day to day life, to see their energy levels increase and for them to look forward to returning to sessions week after week.  It is for these reasons that I'm a specialist Pre and Post Natal Trainer and Childrens Exercise Instructor as I want to get people exercising and focussing on their health at the earliest possibility. Working with ladies hitting their (peri)menopausal years is also a key group for me as it is a pivotal stage in life where exercise, in particular strength training, can have the biggest positive effects on their physical and mental health.

No 'quick fix' diets. No crazy promises. No extreme plans and no negative talk. 

The fitness industry, news and social media is full of marketing messages and promotions to make you feel so down about yourself that you fall into the trap of buying endless products, diet and exercise plans that promise to create you a super 'perfect' body, but end up being  nothing more than false, unrealistic promises that can often have further negative effects on your physical and mental wellbeing. 

I will NOT do that. Instead, I'm going to just welcome you into a friendly environment, support and teach you to exercise and fuel your body effectively, showcase the enjoyment and fun that can be had and then let the wonderful exercise endorphins, sense of achievement and energy be the thing that makes you choose to come back. 


The nPROVE Fitness story...

2012 my hobby became a part time job and I started to instruct fitness classes alongside a career in event planning

2018 this little man came into my life and I decided to qualify as a Personal Trainer so I could expand my work in the fitness industry. nPROVE was born.

2019 I spent endless hours Personal Training in parks, gardens and homes.

2019 I launched my outdoor Bootcamps which proved very popular

2020 The Covid years changed  a lot! Classes moved to Zoom and then to small groups of 5 people

2020  As covid restrictions continued, I created a temporary under cover gym in a cow shed to provide a space for exercise away from the rain

2021 The cows tried to take back control of their shed!

2021 Outdoor exercise continued to grow in popularity as covid restrictions eased

2021 As part of some major house renovations, I decided to convert our old kitchen into my very own fitness studio

2022 the Fitness Studio was complete and ready to host a wide range of new classes and personal training
